Unity
One team, one community. We play for each other, not against each other.
A community basketball movement built on one idea: when we play together, we are one.
Our story
Be One grew out of a love of the game and a simple observation: in regional towns, a lot of young people never get the chance to properly try basketball. Programs can be hard to find, travel is long, and walking into a club for the first time can feel daunting.
B1 exists to break down those barriers. We travel to regional towns, hire the local court, bring the balls and coaches, fire up the barbecue and open the doors to everyone.
The name says it all. On our court there's no "us and them". Beginners and ballers, kids and parents, one town and the next: we all Be One.

Our values
One team, one community. We play for each other, not against each other.
Every age, background and ability. If you want to play, there's a spot for you.
Adult coaches supervise every session, with clear rules for play. All coaches and organisers hold a current Working with Children Check.
Food, high-fives and big smiles. We want every player leaving keen to come back.
How we run
Be One is a not-for-profit organisation. Some sessions are free and some have a small fee. Money from fees, the sausage sizzle and sponsors goes back into running more sessions. Our events are also made possible by local venues, sponsors and the people who give up their weekends to coach, cook and cheer.
A regular, affordable basketball pathway in every regional town we visit, where young people can start playing, keep improving and feel part of something bigger.
To use basketball to connect regional communities, build confidence in young people, and make the game accessible to anyone who wants to play.
Play, volunteer or partner with us. There are plenty of ways to Be One.
